Yeap.. I did lasik operation this afternoon and godddd…. I AM NOT NERVOUS AT ALL which is way too strange isnt it ? Not a bit, Not at all .. and everyone was looking at me as though i shld be worried sick by then. Doctors and the assistants around looked more worried than me.

I did a 2hr eye assessment a week ago without informing my folks LOL. Pretty easy and was happie to heard the doctor said i am a suitable candidate for lasik. Do not assume everyone are suitable for lasik and the few important criterias they looked into are pupil size, cornea’s thickness and many other terms. I heard patients with small eyes might not be suitable as well.

3 days before the eye assessments- remove your lense, 3 days before actual op- remove your lense.

Apparently i stayed home LOL .. most prolly only my pri and secondary school friends get to see my nerdy specs. This shall be the best christmas present to celebrate my 10 years anniversary for wearing contact lense. Thanks for serving me well and good all these years and i am more than happie to kiss you goodbye !

My appointment today was at 2.30pm and I was still in the retail shop doin my usual marketing at that time. I am still as calm as … i must be crazy. They passed me this document to sign and trust me i dint read and just flipped over to the next page and signed my damn name. I seriously dun think reading those scary side effects or the “might happen situations” will help in any way. Think about it? If you came out of the operation theatre blind.. what else can you do with that damn paper?

I am still bloody not afraid of anything when the doctor put on his rope for operation and they dressed me up in similar rope as well. I was told to roll my hair into a bun and when everyone is ready for that, I was still not feeling a thing. Before Jayden’s momo left me in the clinic at wheelock place, she said this to me  (when i looked into the mirror trying to adjust my hair LOL) : you are really not scared? since yesterday also like that.

I understand is natural for patients to feel worried.. I mean they are fixing my 灵魂之窗.. what if they turned you blind? and to make things worse, the most beautiful feature out of my entire body is prolly my pair of marble. Thinking to myself : I paid for their service and I trusted the doctor. you mean i still have to worry over all the things that should not be happening? I have better things to do, seriously.

In brief, the doctor open the flap and to clean it and thereafter close it for you. Everything is within 15 mins, less than 30 seconds per eyes, you are not in coma lol and you can see exactly what they doctor is trying to do , he cleaned and the laser stink as well… ( weird smell).

I will be back for check up tml morning. Vision is okay now still a lil blurry but doctor assured me it will gradually cleared up by then. I hope.

Deepest Thoughts

When you stopped and take a look back at how far you came , how much you have done, you might end up with deep thoughts just like me.

Is common to heard about this : Humans can never be satisfied about what they had, craving for more and more. Think again. How true is it? Is that always true?

How you define contentment?  ”Contentment is not the fulfillment of what you want, it is the realization of how much you already have.” For me, this is the best definition. If one is always looking for fulfilment of what he/she wants, prolly that will be satisfaction and is never ending.

It is true that we don’t know what we’ve got until we lose it but how true is that when it comes to having no idea what we’ve been missing out until it arrives. Things can be as bad as having to lose a someone close to you and you might not know how bad can things fall on you unless is your personal experience and when you start to moan like anything.

The next time you wonder : was my life really tt bad?  You might want to think again about kids far away in india (not all) are left with one hand… to beg ( they are not born this way but they are forced to be left with just one hand )

People might grumbled about jobs, with or without high rumerations, endless OT, sucky boss.. for me i might complain about jobless.. and all but i just can’t help telling myself these days i am fortunate to have a complete body, to have a family and have many things with me that perhaps my friends or others are deprived of.

The happiest person don’t neccessary need to have the best of everything, you just have to make the most out of everything that comes along the way.. right?

Brightest future will be there only when people learnt to let go off their heartaches and past. EMBRACE the new adventures !

I really have no intention to chase away my readers thinking that i am such a untidy gal LOL

Give me a chance to explain. The reason for all the stuff lying around on the floor for weeks is becos i need to pack everything before i can bid goodbye to my furnitures so everything is in a total mess.

The last box shows an empty room and that is my room alrite ! I cleaned all the stuff like one dog and of cos i dint move the furniture but hey pls do the comparisons urself.

So after the pictures do you think i am qualified for life transformers now? Send them here right now ! They can find me a job as well =) Speaking of which, i really feel for the participants in the show.. Esp 6 ( 10/11) is realli heartbreaking. After i saw the pictures of her before she got into all that, i can’t hold my tears.

She is 26 this year, prolly if she dint got into all these, she is enjoying herself now, soaking in love, married with kids. Gals of her age is enjoying themselves and yet she is there getting fits as often as 3 times a week..so much so she wants to walk or talk, she simply can’t.  She dint get a chance to live the way she deserved but she is bless with a family full of love. Virus robs her youth, her time and almost her life. So someone pls tell me god is fair?

So before you know it, you might not wake up tml to say good morning to your love ones, you might not get to complain about your job, work or school, your boss and your whining parents. Appreciate while you can.

For me , 

•  I shall not get lazy about gym becos i dint want to die looking fat ( in case )    
•  I shall be  MORE optimistic about my job hunting esp after looking at my friends who started working ( just for a year or less, they are already looking like sh*t) – self groom pls
•  I shall enjoy myself while i can and be grateful for my papa,mama,ah gim, jayden…etc..( hmm why jayden? LOL)                        

Arty Farty Painting Project is on !

I am lazy to do anything about my room including painting.. until this topic was offically discussed today!

My room color is going to be different from the rest of the rooms ! I made it clear during the informal family meeting ! Yahh!

Heaps of things to be done :

• My room is getting messy.
• I need to get a table lamp, develop some pictures , prolly my scrapbooking materials and maybe wall deco (  I am considering getting it online )- sometimes you got to admit the ang mo are far better  than us at all these misc stuff lol
• For your info, I threw each and every single piece of my furniture away in my room except my bed and now ” he ” want to join his friends too. Btw his name is noisy. You have to ask me why he got this name.
• I might ( might only ) throw my bags out of the windows if my ah gim starts whining again LOL

She is a BIG BIG PART of our poly life ! She is the famous leader in the project group and w/o her, we can die !  Teo sf is the smartest among my poly gals i can say, good at studies, good at drama( trying to be funny tt kind) .

Lets backdate a lil to year 2003, i met her in orientation. We are to sit together in this Big circle. Seriously this kind of bonding game is not really for me .. i mean c’mon if you meant to be friends with tt person , you will be.. those ice breaking games are ( – . -” ) i cannot imagine some BIG MNCs are still using that for events ( yeah.. we are talking abt dealing with adults here ). Sf just happen to sit beside me and you know.. I asked her “so which sec sch are you from” so i cannot rem la.. some girl’s school.

Yeah a very typical girl’s school face that i am very jealous of. They just got this face you know ! I dunno how to put in words and when u asked for her age.. u want to box her. By the way.. fang is 2 years older than me which makes her 24 this year. LOOK AT HER FACE AGAIN ! Even now .. no joke abt it  .. she look exactly like tt in 2003 which is real sad for me.. hmm no i mean real sad for charmaine, me, hazel and jocelyn.  Sf is the oldest and yet why we are the ones looking older than her huh ? *Roar*

Sf was very quiet during the start of school .. giving us the “you have to take care of me ” look but apparently we are all living under her broad wide  erm…erm.. hands lar for 3 good years ! Hahaha ! She is the famous drama queen and all our friends know her by this name as well.

Reason being.. is very common for everyone to know what went missing for her.. her actions are too big not to be notice. I meet her up recently for lunch and this is one of her typical e.g

we were toking about hps and she said she lost 2 hp ( dun be surprise ) wait till you read on.

Fang : my story damn “CLASSIC”one

Me : wa ! tell me tell me ( If she said is classic .. must believe)

Story begin : According to tsf, she was talking on her hp near the window. She said she was feeling so sleepy so she rest her hands near the window and then i dunno what happened.. her hp flew out of the window.

She paused here : eh my story haven finish lei ..

me * thinking to myself – wa.. must be damn classic .. i tot end liao lol “

She grabbed another hp and ran down IMMEDIATELY HOR ! and guess what ? The phone tt flew right out of her window down on the floor with the battery and all flying out .. ALL BU JIAN LIAO ! Hahaha

Sibei fast ! I was like : “ah fang .. they ambush at your void deck lor to wait for your hp to drop”

I mean c’mon the person is professionally trained. She called her Hp with the one she grabbed from home. HER PHONE RANG ! HAHAHA…

In other words, that ass picked each and every single part on the floor and assembled it within mins. Detective fang decided to follow and ask around. Then she said she saw one bus went off. Tt’s it !!  Fang’s phone on the bus liao.

we spend 3 years together in school with the rest. Many happie days tgt if you asked me.  So much so i keep complaining about my ngee ann days.. they are the ones i have been “hahahaing” with all day long. They are the only ones who can make me laugh with tummy ache everyday ! We totally ignored existence of other people and this explain our lil friends in poly. hahaha. Cheers to our friendship ! Many more years to come !

So Random

Sometimes, I am just like my mom .. i mean of cos i have to be like her.. if not who ? We both can’t stand people who try to act like smartie esp if you are not, dun even bother seriously.

Random issue # 1- Taxi Drivers

Some taxis uncles will “evening dream”( not day dream cos is evening ) you know … i can tell .. because they are not moving though the car right in front of them started moving (- . -”). I will try to keep quiet about this because i can understand having warm your butt for 10 over hours is not a joke and moreover i am a big fan of day dream ( can ask ah lai abt my past records) so i guess i can understand ” their world ” but i seriously cannot stand uncles who dream to the extent that they are in the wrong lane and i can be stuck in the same traffic area for 2 times at least. Then my response is I will let out a BIG SIGN ( I will make sure is as loud as a FART and HE CAN HEAR ME). Usually it works but if I am super pissed off, I will combine it with actions like I will sit up straight and look at his mirror for EYE CONTACT ! Trust me, i will do that.  My last resort is to speak to him ( by then, i think i am ready to throw my money on his face )

Today i just bump into one and i was on my way home from orchard- as you know there are a couple of ERP ( Everyday Rob People) so even 1 dollar or 50 cents I will be quite particular abt that and i know all the routes to escape ERP so I suggested to go by route 1- without ERP . That ass insisted route 2- with ERP. I am drained out after gym so i told him ya just anyway. Then he choose to challenge me with his street knowledge and started to nag about ” Aiya route 2 is faster ma.. you go like dat like dat .. very slow” then this ass took quite a long time to realise ” oh got ERP “

ok thinking to myself ” hmm he is not stupid afterall  … and we are still not so near to route 1 yet ” then he looked at this watch and said ” eh 7.55 no erp liao lei, now 7.50 ” Indirectly he is still insisting his way- route 2. I was like ” uncle , still got 5 mins LEI ” and we are reaching route 1. Then came his dumb reply ” AIYA never mind is 50 cents only  ” OK ! He just step on the bomb! ” 50 CENTS ? NOT MONEY AH ? who are you to decide how important my 50 cents ?! If you have so many reasons to take route 2.. then why u keep nagging like there are 50 grannies. The best part came when he drove pass route 1 and when we are almost reaching route 2 he said ” cannot already i missed that route 1″ then he still continued to nag about route 1 CANNOT reach my HOUSE !

So he did all that nagging to get me involved in the conversation with him… so why not? I told him this – which is damn singlish( pardon me ) : ” Uncle, i always take taxi one lor.. you think i will suggest to you a route that cannot go my house meh? then go where? ” then he SUDDENLY went ” TIAM TIAM” - aka quiet.. Orbit good lor !

Random Issue #2 – interviews, interview, endless interviews

Seriously I am sick of going interviews.. i just went for one .. 2 hrs plus .. very taxing for me.. i waited very long and they asked rather funny questions – so do you club? I think the ans i gave are all healthy, smoke free, Lol but i am telling the truth, i am not gei gei”ing” you know ? LoL Why pay to go in and you dance and shake your head in there with so many heads ( you dunno) ? From far.. is like so many rambutans .. lol ok weird logic of mine again.

人生是占有不了的。我们总是以为，已经到手的东西属于自己的,一旦失去就觉得蒙受了损失。其实，没有一样东西能真正占有的。

一般来说，人的天性是习惯于得到，而不习惯与失去。

而我们常把得到看作是应该的，正常的，把失去看作是不应该的，不正常的。

失去当然也是人生的正常现象。整个人生是一个不断地得而复失的过程。

一只求得到不肯失去的人，表面上似乎富于进取心，实际上是很脆弱的。

为了习惯于失去，有时不妨主动地失去。

Oh my dad called me the other day.. erm CORRECTION not me.. he called to look for J (- . -” ) and when J was asleep he THEN looked for me and i was somewhere else. I returned the call and asked him

me :你找我 ah ? 你没有东西做 meh ?

 my dad :他妈的，我很闷 lei 。

ya my dad .. looking for J to entertain him. Now he always bug  me for J’s entertainment news.

I missed jayden’s first class and I was invited by his parents.. more like they hired me again to be J’s personal assistant for his next lesson on sat. Feedback was good ! He enjoyed himself and apparently i think the teacher praised him as the best performer or something.. hurhurhur =)
